What’s Cookin’ Fourth Edition: Crabtastic Salad
If you’re a lucky dog, you can use real fresh crab meat in this salad. If you’re just a regular crabby person, the fake stuff works, is easy to store and keeps well when unopened.
Crabtastic Salad:
Ingredients:
1 package CrabClassics imitation crab meat -chop into small chunks
1 cup of deli Pimento Cheese Spread
1 cup chopped celery
2 thinly sliced green onions
½ cup chopped yellow sweet bell pepper
1-2.5 ounce can sliced black olives -well drained
1 chopped hard-boiled egg
Salt and pepper to taste
Put all into a bowl and stir well.
Serve with crackers or in a sandwich bun, use it to stuff celery stalks or hollowed out tomatoes or serve over lettuce.
